Description

What is freeze-dried coffee extract? It works just like instant coffee, but it tastes just like real coffee.

Instant coffee has a bad name because it often tastes just horrible. But our freeze-dried coffee extract starts with a delicious, fresh, cold brew (cold brewing reduces the acidity). The liquid is then freeze-dried, which results in a delicate, beautiful golden-brown flake that we then grind into a fine powder and package into individual single-serve packets. Mix the contents of one packet into 6 ounces of hot or cold water and the result is the same cold brew coffee that we started with! None of the great coffee flavor is lost in the process.

It’s a convoluted and expensive way to satisfy your coffee cravings, but if you don’t have access to brewing equipment, or don’t have time, this is the best option for a great cup of coffee. Our 8-serving package is small and lightweight, and now you can have the fresh-brewed coffee experience wherever there’s hot water – no brewing equipment or brewing time required. It’s perfect for backpacking and camping, but also for any time you’re on the go or away from home.

Note: in keeping with the coffee-industry standard, each individual packet contains enough coffee extract for one 6-ounce cup. If you want a larger cup or stronger coffee, just use more powder from a second pouch.
